Two gallery visitors stand in an art gallery looking down at a wide artwork on the floor. It consists of three concentric rings of red dirt. At the center sits a bronze sculpture inspired by the Benin Bronzes, historical artworks from Benin, present-day Nigeria. In the background are other paintings and installations.

The Shed produces and welcomes innovative art and ideas, across all forms of creativity, to build a shared understanding of our rapidly changing world and a more equitable society.

We’re currently preparing for our upcoming programs. In the meantime, you can still drop by The Doctoroff Lobby to visit the box office, have a drink at our bar, Cedric’s, or browse arts-focused books and more in our shop, McNally Jackson at The Shed. You’ll find specific hours through February on the Visit page.
